This year to go over policies and procedures we had a Gingerbread Man Scavenger Hunt. We read The Library Gingerbread Man by Dotti Enderle and then followed it with having to find him by using the clues he left for us! He helped us to remember where we go to checkout books, which section of the library contains non-fiction information and which contains fiction, and other things that we might have forgotten over our long summer break. The kids had a blast looking for the clues, and the Gingerbread Man even left everyone a brand new bookmark when the hunt was complete!
